Optimus - Water Conditioner - Pond

NT Labs Optimus is a new highly concentrated water conditioner that removes chlorine, chloramine, halogens, and detoxifies heavy metals found in tap water. It also detoxifies ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate into a safe form that can be removed by the biofilter. For best results, use NT Labs Optimus with NT Labs Satus to start up/cycle up new aquariums and during every water change. NT Labs Optimus is buffered and will not negatively affect pH or skimmers. Suitable for both freshwater and marine aquariums. Available in 100ml, 250ml and 500ml sizes. This 100ml bottle will treat up to 4,000 litres.

Ammonia is formed from fish waste, uneaten food and when other organic matter decompose. Even at very low levels, ammonia is still toxic to fish. Ammonia affects a fish’s ability to absorb oxygen through their gills and can cause irreversible gill damage. This damage can result in various symptoms and will usually be fatal to fish.

• Setting up new aquariums and carrying out water changes.
• Adding fish to your aquarium.
• Carrying out a water change.

Dosage & total treatment volume:

• Read instructions before use.
• Standard dose 5ml per 200 litres.
• When the water temperature is above 30°c and chlorine and ammonia levels are low, half the dosage.
• If Chloramine levels are high the standard dose can be doubled.
• In the case of dangerously high nitrite levels it can be used at up to 5x times the standard dose.
• This 100ml bottle treats up to 4,000 litres.

Usage tips:

• Check your aquarium water quality before use (for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, etc).
• Use with NT Labs Satus to cycle biofilters.
